Día 9

Sábado

Hoy fue un día muy divertido.  Primero, nos despertamos temprano para comer un desayuno delicioso.  Después, fuimos al Parque Juárez para bailar Zumba.  ¡Parece que muchos de nosotros no sabemos bailar! 

Bailamos por treinta minutos y luego regresamos a Casa Carmen.  Un poco después, salimos para Xoté, un parque acuático. 

Nadamos y nos relajamos por muchas horas, y todos se divirtieron.  Regresamos a Casa Carmen a almorzar y descansar.  Nos echamos una siesta, como lo normal, y nos arreglamos para la tarde. 

Después de haber descansado por una hora, fuimos al mercado artesanal.  Nos encantan los mercados aquí en San Miguel.  Los mercados tienen muchas cosas, como comida, artículos de cuero, cerámicas, joyas de plata, y más.  Pasamos una hora y media allá, y luego regresamos a la casa para cenar. 

Cuando habíamos terminado la cena, visitamos la casa de la Sra. Carbonaro.  ¡Su casa es muy bonita y tiene una vista espectacular!  Después de un día muy largo (pero divertido), regresamos a la casa a dormir.

Saturday

Today was a very fun day.  First, we woke up early to eat a delicious breakfast.  After, we went to the park to take part in a weekly ritual: Zumba dancing.  It looks like many of us cannot dance very well. 

We dance for thirty minutes and then returned to Casa Carmen.  A little while after, we left for Xoté, a water park!  We swam and relaxed for many hours, and everyone had a great time.  Then, we returned to Casa Carmen to have lunch and rest. 

We took a siesta, as usual, and then got ready for the afternoon.  After resting for an hour, we went to the market.  All of us love the markets here in San Miguel.  The markets boast inventories of many things, such as food, leather goods, ceramics, silver jewelry, and more.  We spent an hour and a half at the market, and then went home to have dinner. 

Once we finished with dinner, we visited Sra. Carbonaro’s house.  Her house is beautiful and has a spectacular view of the city.  After a long, but fun day, we returned home to go to bed.
